This was a good game against the top winning team even though Rockets lost- SCORE: HEAT 24/ROCKETS 17. HITS: HEAT 28/ROCKETS 26... Rockets had a good beginning - 1st 6 innings, twice tying up the game in the 3rd & 5th... ROCKETS/MODESTO ALCALA tried to cool the HEAT down with THREE HRs, 6 RBIs!! Of course, he was walked in the 6th:))) Gee- I think skipping would be amusing:)) DAVID CLUNE snagged a triple! ..... The HEAT team, not the current weather conditions:) kept fired up all but the 2nd inning, no runs scored! RICK LANGFORD hit two HRs with 7 RBIs! And, like Modesto, was IWd in the 7th- RICH GALBALLY followed with a Triple in the 4th. BILL DUNKLEY smashed a HR with 4RBIs in the 6th! TODD FIRMIN went 4/4 , singles- guarantees the bats will strike:)
As you can see- HEAT players are serious when they come to bat- here's the sequence to Howard Spiess when he came to the plate in the 4th- his single brought in Bill Gregg for a run:)
