Our funds increased following the 2024 2ND Annual HOF with donations from Steve & Bettye Lefebvre and the neighborhood Sanibel team- We now have a total of $172.00 in our funds to date! We thank you!
Welcome to our special group of rec D4 players, volunteers, umpires, scorekeepers who have been chosen to be inducted into our Annual Rec D4 Hall of Fame! just click on any image to enlarge. Since the first HOF was successfully launched by Nick & Jacque Dorazio and Mike Ratajczak, they have since organized a committee to research upcoming perspectives to be inducted into our HOF in 2024. Along with Mike, Jacque & Nick, the committee includes, Joe Grossman, Terry Fritts and Bob Lyons. Our gathered data goes back to 2004 up to current season. We thank John Leja for helping us post all of your historical data at the end of each season. To see your historical stats check out the file links on the home page under the HOF heading. Please be aware, the stats are only compiled as a player from rec D4. If you changed to another division, stats are not included. Also, if you have not played and then returned to play once more, all previous stats are removed. The protocol for nominees are longevity in rec D4, stats, accomplishments, and volunteering within the rec D4 family- who, collectively, help our D4 family to be the coolest in our 55+ softball community:)) As we honor our legends, we ensure our love of this game and the friendships we continue to have on and off these beautiful fields. Once our list is compiled, look for a notification on the site, at the field, or via your team manager.
