. . . It was a lucky moment capturing Modesto's awesome play that day! Congrats to him for being on the ball- literally!! .... The picture montage of John Olson I posted because unfortunately, John had a collision at 2nd base taking him out for the remainder of the summer season- he was on the Warriors team this season. Seeing him throughout previous seasons, and my being a fan of MLB, he reminds me of Altuve, 2nd baseman currently on Astros team:) both about the same height 5'6" yes, a bit shorter than most players although, they both have the same drive- never stopping to go after the ball! There has been a rule forever listed to veer off going to 2nd to avoid a collision- and the runner would still be safe.... a suggestion had been placed by Nick Dorazio to solve this problem last season however, it was not done as suggested, players were not aware, the proposed solution ended.... Any suggestions for safe, fun, playing email your board & managers!!! .... Hoping John is recovering OK and we will see him back on the field!
